I bought my first Ionic and it was awesome... lasted almost 2 whole years without a single issue. I wore it all the time, swam with it, showered, etc. I never had any inkling of an issue until the display started going wonky.
Okay, it was a great device, so I wanted a replacement; something I could enjoy for the next almost 2 years. Except... it was defective. I bought it in April, it died in July. It was still under warranty, so I got another replacement Ionic.
Lo and behold, less than 2 months this time, and my Ionic is a piece of crap. I just don't think it can surprise me now. And, trying to be safer, I didn't shower or swim while wearing this one. Still crappy... only more quickly.
I've cleaned, charged, tried new chargers, new ports, etc. all to no avail. I cannot get the display to work on this Ionic, even though the Fitbit app indicates that it's increasing in battery (but the watch itself doesn't do anything at all).
At this point, I don't even know what to do. I don't know what can be done. Except that I know it's frustrating to have yet one more thing to stress about during this present-day craptastic world. Lol, and all this while trying to be more active and more cognizant of my steps.

You are not alone.
This forum is full of people with similar issues. I’ve had 2 that failed completely.
Are you under warranty? If so contact support.
If you’re not, then like me you’re left out of luck and out of pocket.
