My ionic stopped reading my heart rate and steps earlier in the week.
I then disconnected, forgot the device, reinstalled the app and even changed the clock face on advice from a forum. Unfortunately it did not resolve the issue.
I then performed a factory reset on the device but when it tried to turn on again the device now just flashes the Fitbit logo and nothing else.
The device lost its charge and I have recharged it a few times but it still just flashes the logo on and off until it has drained the battery again.
Any advice muchly appreciated.

I found a solution:
I spoke to the support department via chat. They were not able to help and told me ionic is defective and can be repaired.
i was about to buy a new one but then I notice that My ionic was some what low on battery when I started having the issue. So It was plugged. After few days on the table I notice that the clock was back on instead of the Fitbit logo.
so I plugged it again as the battery was low. But then like 5 min after the same issue. The fit bit logo flashing. And I could not do a hard reset. So I unplugged it and waited again until the battery was low enough that some how I can see again the clock. So it happened so I did a quick hard reset but in the process it some how it was complete out of charge. So I charge it for about 5 min again and unplugged it. Then did a hard reset. And somewhat worked. I paired it successfully to my phone and so far 5 hrs in and the ionic is working. Maybe a way to fix it. Hope it helps. Cheers.

glad to hear, maybe tech support can try this as a secondary option
