Ionic going into timer mode

Yesterday my Ionic just started going from the home screen into timer mode(stopwatch now) and buzzing every time it does it.  Right I have the watch sitting on my desk with no buttons being touched. It is continually buzzing and opening up the stopwatch, then back to the home screen, doing this over and over again.  This is the worst it has been.  My watch is a few years old, but I certainly expect that it would last a bit longer.  I have already done a hard reset and it is worse since then.

Any ideas on what to do?  Wish I could load a video of it.

@JCar17 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I appreciate the time spent trying to get the issue that your Ionic has experienced, since it goes from the home screen to the timer mode. I totally understand how you feel about this.

In order to avoid providing the same information, please let me know if you also restarted your Ionic as described in this help article. After this, try setting up your Ionic from scratch and see if the issue doesn't happen again.

See you later.
