Ionic heart rate not shown in IOS app

The heart rate won’t consistently sho in the app. I’m shows on the watch but the app only shows resting rate.

if I completely close the app and reopen it, the heart rate immediately shows up.

i never saw this with my Blaze.

Interesting, I use the iOS app and haven’t had this issue. Maybe uninstall the app and reinstall?

I am having same issue. Never had this with charge HR. Heart rate is working on watch, but only showing resting on iPhone app.

Might be worth checking that your Ionic is actually connected by Bluetooth to your iPhone. Resting rate is, to a degree, historic information, but actual pulse needs an active connection to the watch. I've noticed BT connection can drop periodically,so that might be your culprit.

I agree with @SunsetRunner regarding bluetooth. Also, be sure that your Ionic is snug on your wrist.

Interesting enough when I open the app heart rate is neverupdating and I can check Bluetooth settings and it shows connected. When I go back to the app heart rate is now updating. This is very consisted.

Have the same issue. Ionic is connected and update all the information but not the HR.

just Clising the app and remove it totally out of memory and start the app again give actualiteit HR!
