It was acting very strange before dying on me. As if I was scrolling through my short cuts and settings. Anyways, it wont respond at all. It wont charge and heats up when I attempt to charge it. If its permanently dead it fine I'd rather hear the truth. Can anyone help?

Hi @Altraprison, welcome to the community.

 

Unfortunately from my experience it would appear your Ionic is dead. Have you been swimming with it or got it wet by any chance? I know some users have mentioned similar issues with water damaged units. I would definitely recommend not trying to charge it or use it at this point as you mention its getting hot.
