Ionic is not keeping time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My ionic watch is loosing time against GMT, so much so that I missed a meeting as i thought it was 1/2hr earlier than it was.

I have tried everything that has been suggested to me, such as

  • restart my ionic watch - :heavy_check_mark:
  • reload the app - :heavy_check_mark:
  • change my clock face for a fitbit one (which it was already!) - :heavy_check_mark:
  • charge my watch - :heavy_check_mark:
  • Turn off the automatic time zone (as you did above) - :heavy_check_mark:

I now really need to get this resolved, please can you advise how this is done.

Thanks

Richard

@EdsonFitbit unfortunately this offers me no assistance what so ever. I've tried everything that Fitbit has been asked of me and yet I still have a fitbit watch that doesn't tell the correct time!

I would like to start the process getting a replacement for this faulty watch.

I have the same problem - lost 10 minutes twice in two days - and I did not change time zones as some similar solutions suggest  (17 Feb at 7 pm aprox and 18 Feb at 2 pm aprox)

I now need to carry a second watch wit me so I have the correct time

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @Lawson77.

If you haven't done so, please restart your Fitbit Ionic by following these steps.

For instructions on how to change the time on your Watch, please visit this article.

In addition, you can set up your Ionic as a replacement device:

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1645392562675.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Hope this helps.
