My dad gifted my sister and I with the Ionic model. After few month it started giving issues with sensor, firstly it started with my devices which i thought would be with my usage. I do intense workouts. However after few months my sister also started getting the same issue with the sensor.I really feel that its not a right fit for fitness athletes is not the right option I think they should opt for I watch or some other devices, as it doesnt stay with u for long. We thought it’s a good investment for my fitness but it’s not. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps for this on both the devices still no results. Really waste of money.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Ionic. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.
The Ionic has several sensors. To have a better understanding of your issue, please tell me what sensor on your Ionic is not working properly?
I'll be waiting for your response.

Apparently I am not the only Ionic Owner who has had to return one recently. I will consider looking back into the Ionic in a few years time. Hopefully by then there will be some hardware and software improvements. Until then, I am happy with the Charge 2.
