Ionic is pooched!

So just over a week ago my ionic did the update. After my battery life went to crap and wouldn't last more than 24 hours. It lasted at least a week before the update.  Then it dropped off that it wouldn't last more than 12 hours.  Yesterday it died and I plugged it in and it didn't give me the signal it was charging,  so I used a different USB port as suggested. Still nothing. Wouldn't turn on or nothing.  I started playing with it and pushing buttons and holding them down and finally it came to life, but when the screen came on it said battery was at 3% so I turned off the screen.  When I turned the screen back on it said 7% then the next time I turned it on 15% and so on.  So how in the heck does it charge when it isn't plugged in.  To make matters worse my screen is frozen so i can not swipe at all. Havent been able to for 3 days now.. i cant reset and restart does nothing.  It shows i have a heartbeat when it is sitting on a wood table. It counts steps when it hasn't moved.  It is completely screwed up.  The watch is 1.5 years old and was working perfectly until the update.  So frustrated.  I have a lot of money and time invested in fitbit and it's product. I am conflicted whether or not I should continue with fit bit or switch to Garmin's watch. 🤨😔🥴

I actually had the same issue with my first iconic, Fitbit replaced it but in less than a year its acting up again. The screen froze and now it keeps blinking the fitbit logo. I'm on the fence about getting another one or just leaving the community and going to the garmin watch.

Something about the updates that keep frying the watches.
