Ionic just dead

I think this is common, but my Ionic is now just dead, was charged up at 20:00 and when I looked at it at about 23:00 nothing happened. I have tried it again on the charger, I have tried holding the back and lower button for ages. but nothing happens.

It was purchased from Amazon Feb 2018 so is 18 months old.

I read here somewhere about a software update to fix similar issues.

First, I appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? I've had my Ionic for 13 months and the same happened to me! No satisfaction from fitbit!

I cleaned everything with IPA, tried charging and switching on again, no luck.
