Ionic just died

My Ionic was working this morning and just died.  Screen in blank. Checked the app and I still have halfway charged.  I tried holding all 3 buttons to reboot and tried holding the left button for 12 seconds like I saw on other forums.  Nothing is working. I tried to hook it up to my charger and it isn't charging. The Screen is just dead.  What can I do?  This isn't old and it wasn't cheap to just go buy a new one.

Do a proper Restart and do it several times if necessary.

To charge your Ionic again could you please follow these steps: 

• Clean the charging port pins using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
• Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger. Don't use a USB hub.
• Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
