Every time I charge watch it loses the clock and I have to download a new face.
Any ideas?

Does it of every face or just one?
What happens if you download a face whilst the Ionic is connected to the charger. The disconnect and reconnect the charger?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To better assist you with this and just as @PaulMe asked, this happens with every clock face or just with a specific one? If such is the case, are you using Fitbit original clock faces or third-party ones? When was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your device and let me know if the issue persists.
