Ionic losing time

My Ionic will only keep time if it is very near to my device. As soon as I move away, it loses time quickly.

@IAKirk Thanks for stopping by!

The time is kept or updated when your device syncs with your phone. I suggest you refresh the link between your phone and your Ionic by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

The restart should also help with the general behavior of  your Ionic.

Hope this helps.

Just offering another suggestion, as I faced a similar issue with my Luxe today.  Have you tried to reconnect the Ionic with your account?  Just set it up as you did originally on the app.  Select "Ionic" and then "Replace your Ionic".  From there, it should walk you through the setup process again.
