Unfortunately syncing is not always rock solid.
I've found that if the Ionic is out of range with the phone for a few hours or more. Syncing can drop off. I keep my phone well away from the bedroom, so suncing drops out overnight and often won't come back.
I have to go into settings>Apps & notifications. select Fitbit and hit Force Stop. Back out, open the Fitbit app again and attempt a resync. Sometimes it takes several times.

Hi @Pammy999, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for your post. To better assist you with this, can you please clarify if you're having syncing difficulties or your concern is about the All-Day sync feature that was removed to improve connectivity between the Fitbit and your phone? Also, which mobile device are you using? More information and details will be appreciated.
@PaulMe thanks for always helping users here in the Ionic board.
Looking forward to your reply.
