Ionic not charging

My fitbit ionic is a little over a year old and out of the blue it stopped working.  By stopped working I mean it won't charge.  In fact it won't even give me a percentage of charge, rather the screen shows the Fitbit image (the diamond-shape dots that are light blue) and stays on and then Fitbit image changes to the color white.  You can see the battery icon on the top left of the screen showing it's trying to charge but doesn't make progress.

I've clean contact points on my charger with rubbing alcohol, was able to reset to factory default settings in an attempt to fix but nothing has worked.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

My Fitbit Ionic will not charge. I have cleaned the contacts and tried several different charger cords that I have but it will not charge anymore. Every Fitbit I have had only has lasted 1-1.5 years and they have all quit charging and have had to replace. Think this is my last one if it cannot be fixed.

Bought the Ionic Adidas version less than two years ago, and it's doing the same thing now.  Stopped working and will not charge.  I actually bought the Garmin forerunner first and returned it for the Ionic because, it just seemed like the watch wasn't quite ready for primetime.  But after reading so many posts on issues with the Ionic some going back two years addressing the same issue (not connecting to Wifi), I'm convinced this model will always be hit or miss. A year and a half is way too short a shelf life for the price!

@RicardoFitbit , i received the email from customer support with resetting instructions but to no avail.  What next?  Is there a way to update your firmware without your device being charge if it's plugged in?

My ionic was having syncing issues about a month or so ago.  I left a post on here.  I did what was suggested and it happened a couple more times but then was working well.   I never had a time connecting to the scale so I know it was the watch.   Now my ionic will not charge. I have 3 chargers and none of them are working.   I love my watch, I love Fitbit but I swear it seems like every time I ve reached the end of my warranty I have to buy a new one.  This is my third Fitbit, which I got when the band fell off the first two Fitbit I had.  That is no longer an issue with the ionic I just switched to the other band when it started to wear.   Whenever I’ve called in the past they offer me a 50% off the next watch but I just want the one I have to work.

I recently had my Ionic stop working also. They sent me a new one and after fully charging it and wearing it, the battery died. It will not let me charge it. I have tried cleaning the contacts, tried 5 USB ports and it still won't charge. Could something be wrong with the charging cords? Is it possible to get new cords sent out?
