Best AnswerGood evening Wendy,
I contacted support, but even after exchanging a few mails, no solution seems to in sight. I have exercised several troubleshooting options, including setting the device up all over again, but to no avail. I request you to advise me regarding the future course of action.
Thank you
I am also haveing the no steps counting issue. My fitbit watch and app also no longer connects to my wifi anymore. My ionic is only 6 months old. Besides the horrible music sync issue which has never worked for me....now the dang thing is useless. Ugh. I've also contacted support. Let's see what they say. I may be switching back to apple watch with **ahem** battery life, but at least everything else works on it fine. -Heidi
I just upgraded from the Charge 2 to the Ionic and I'm finding it to be very inaccurate in my step count. I counted myself doing 100 steps and it covered less than half of them. Some will probably say contact customer support. The thing is, I shouldn't HAVE to contact them when I haven't even had the device for 24 hours. Doesn't make any sense to me how their step count can vary so drastically from one of their products to the next.
I am Having the same issue. My Iconic will display the time and will tell me when I have reached my step goal and even displays my metrics on my dashboard, but will not display any metrics on the watch display itself.
Best AnswerYou need to change the clock face to a Fitbit made one. Just got mine fixed and it’s counting great again.
I have had my Iconic for about 6 months. Right away I was having issues with the device "ghosting" on me. What I mean by "ghosting" is that the Iconic randomly stops tracking me until I restart the device.
This happens daily. I have factory reset the device as well. This has NOT resolved any issues.
So far this has been quite a disappointment.
Putting Fitbit clock face worked for me.
Contact Fitbit--explain problem--try their solutions-if doesn't work have them send form for a new one. I had to do that and had a new watch in 4 days--just watch, no band or anything else, but not a problem.
Best AnswerI have a brand new Ionic doing the same thing. Only registers half my steps. Had to buy this after my Surge 2 band broke. Very disappointed.
Best AnswerI have noticed that my steps are not the same as a friend or husband they both wear the charge 2, we can walk together and my husband will have at least 3000 more steps than me! 😩 Even when we walk our dogs together and I have been at the gym or shopping he will always have more not impressed makes me work harder!😏🤔 Please advise!
Best AnswerWorked for me too. One of the upgrades broke my 3rd party clock face.
I was going to change the watch face in app to Fitbit one but noticed my current face needed updated. Once I updated the watch face it works fine again. It wasn't keeping track on watch face but it was in the app itself
