Lost steps when synced next day

  • Synced on 8/30 before bed
  • 8/31 - Ran a 46 mile trail run (did not track using iconic’s GPS) but did use step counting function.  At end of day I was at approximately 82-83000 steps. Synced everything and it all was there.  Earned a futuristic kicks badge for 80k steps on 8/31.
  • 9/1 synced my iconic and my step total for the previous day (8/31) was reduced to 62000 steps.  Yet my badge collection still shows I earned the futuristic kicks??

I have restarted the iconic, logged out of the app, hard reset the app, and reset my phone... where did the 20000 steps disappear to?

What do you see when you go to Fitbit.com? 

Does the Fitbit app really say that your tracker synced today?
