Okay I believe that I figured out the Solution to the problem. Your clock face may be outdated & you must change it to a new one. When I synced my phone it was recording my steps but wasn't showing on my Fitbit itself. Of course it sucks after you find something you like now have to change it!!! But my Ionic stopped counting. Did a shutdown & all. So decided to change my face & it worked. Up and running again
All My fitbit ionic also not counted the steps after updated, what you have to do is open the fitbit application on your phone and set Notification and select the fitbit and permission to all, then you just walk and see. mine working . Try
