Ionic not pairing or connecting via Bluetooth

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So for the past week my Ionic was having major issues with pairing. I looked up the first troubleshoot step (unpair via Bluetooth), but in my phone settings my ionic was no longer paired via Bluetooth. So i restart my ionic.... no change. I've checked for app updates, uninstalled and reinstalled the app... no change. So decided to unpair the ionic from the app itself and pair it. Now it cant even find my device to pair it to the app.

Any ideas?

thanks both @Dutydog and @LiliyaFitbit  neither worked. I decided to try a factory reset, but its still not connecting even as a new device - on the first stage of a set up - which is very disappointing. the tracker itself worked fine, recorded the information well, but now wont move beyond the "to start, download the fitbit app". looks like a call to fitbit support is needed, but the device is a little over 2 years old now, so not sure how much they can do without it incurring costs.

Thank you for your reply, @LeighMSmith.

I am sorry to hear the issue persists, thank you for your efforts. I understand how you are feeling and recommend trying to set up your watch using another compatible phone or tablet, if possible. To verify that your phone or tablet is compatible with the Fitbit app, go to fitbit.com/devices. If you still can't set up, please get in touch with our Support team so they can look deeper into the issue and discuss the options available to you.
