I have a Fitbit Ionic that, according to the App had last synced today at 12:35PM East US time, had Version 71.6.19, and the battery level was 'medium' when it synced.
I remember looking down at the watch sometime this afternoon (may have been after 12:35PM) and noticed the Fitbit diamond logo on the screen. Since then, the Ionic has been dead. It doesn't appear to be taking a charge (blank screen when connected to a charging cable), and I can't reboot (press and hold left and bottom right buttons) or reset (press and hold all three buttons). The Fitbit app on my phone can't connect to it, etc. For all intents and purposes, it's dead.
I would assume that, since the battery wasn't low at the last sync, it still has enough charge to operate or at least reset.
Anyone have similar issues? Is there an auto-update that has gone out that might cause a problem like this?
Thanks!

An aging/aged battery can perform strangely, and even deplete when you think there is still a reasonable charge in it.
Try connecting to other charging sources. A higher current charger may help? Keep the Ionic connected whilst doing a 3 button reset.
Fitbit don't send out auto updates - only new FW updates. Not sure if they will continue to develop the firmware now that the device has been superseeded.
Keep trying. These devices have been known to suddenly start working days later. Keep trying different chargers.
My Ionic stopped auto syncing the other day via my new A10 phone, after earlier getting it working by doing a factory reset and setting up as if a new device. Now I have to open the app to manually sync. No auto sync anymore.Just stopped working.
FRUSTRATING. I just want it to work.
Goodluck with yours!
