Hi there,
My Fitbit Ionic stopped counting my steps yesterday. My Fitbit says 0 steps, my phone however is showing my activity. I have tried restarting my Fitbit, it is still doing the same thing. Anyone else having this problem? How do I fix this? All I see on the forum is a problem with the phone syncing, not the other way around.

Welcome on board @Myredgumball, it's nice to see you here! Thanks for already restarting your Ionic in order to solve this issue with your steps.
If your data is being showed up on your Fitbit app, I think that maybe the currently clock face is the inconvenience. Which one are you using? Can you try changing it to see if that solves this?
Fitbit Ionic offers several designs for the clock screen. To see your options, open the Fitbit app and tap or click the Account icon > your device image > Clock Faces > Pick a New Clock.
I've moved your post to the Ionic board as there are more chances to get related replies here.

My Ionic is not showing steps, I put it in rice thinking it was wet from sweat, but still not does show. My iPhone does pick up the steps. Please help. I have turned off the Ionic and the iPhone without it helping and changed the face of the clock.

Hey there @Reneejf, thanks for jumping in here! Since it seems you've exhausted all the steps in order to fix this, I'd recommend doing the Factory Reset on your Ionic. Note that you’ll need to reinstall any apps and music on your device after the reset, and since you haven't synced your device, then any data on the Fitbit device will be lost.
On your watch, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset.
When the watch successfully resets, use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware or you can see How do I update my Fitbit device? article.
Hope this helps, keep me posted!
