This happened before with an upgrade. Fitbit go back to previous version or do an upgrade to correct this upgrade. My Ionic won't sync with anything, including WW. I can't open the app. It says Fitbit keeps stopping. Close app. Uninstalled and reinstalled at least 50 times with no success.

After another day with nothing resolved, I have decided I will give Fitbit one week to fix this. It makes no sense to have this watch if I now can't reinstall the Fitbit app on my phone. I am going to start looking at Garmin and Polar devices. This is just shameful.

Is this an issue with the Fitbit app OR your phone? "unable to install the Fitbit app on a phone" is not a common fault. First you need to reset your phone. As painful as that is - it is the first thing one has to do in fixing this type of problem, before expecting a vendor to "fix" the issue. Make sure you do a phone backup to ease the pain a little.
If it were an issue on a Windows PC, I'd be suggesting a registry clean and search for leftover entries causing an issue. Or maybe a process stuck in task manager?
Not the same on a phone. You could try a cleaner, but they shouldn't go near system files, and likely will do nothing other than clean up a bit of space by removing some junk..
Obviously you've restarted your phone?

After reading all these posts you would think Fitbit would have done something by now. Why can't you go back to the previous version until this is resolved? I can't even get the app on my phone anymore. Nothing is syncing. This is ridiculous. I'm going out tomorrow to look at Garmin's. I really thought Fitbit was a great company. Am beyond upset.
