Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Best AnswerI have had my Ionic for just over 3 weeks now, and I am having nothing but problems the past 2 weeks. I have gone through factory resets, shutting down the phone, shutting off blue tooth, deleting and re-downloading the app. Nothing seems to be working.
When I factory reset my Ionic, it will sync once, and then it won't sync again using either Bluetooth or Wifi, unless I factory re-set it, which takes up to 3 hours. This is getting extremely frustrating.
Doing a factory reset would be the very last thing I would think of doing.
May I ask what phone that you have @Crystal_Lynne?

They will be taking my tracker back for warranty.
Best AnswerIonic has not synced for 2 days now; it seems fitbit has a problem with their servers and when that happens you cannot sync the device that we paid good money for (because it has to phone home to sync it's more like we rent the trackers and not own them at all)
Best AnswerHello @SunsetRunner again, if it was a Fitbit server problem then these boards would be flooded with messages, along with a red banner at tyettopbannouncing the server problem.
If you would like help, then please include the type of phone that the sync problem is with.
