Ionic not syncing

Hi guys

I seem to be having issues with syncing .. I remove my ionic and set up again and then it syncs instantly but then will not sync again

I have been through full trouble shooting deleting app / restarting watch / bluetooth on and off / all firmware is up to date and the operating on my s8 plus is up to date

Any advice ?

@Rig, I was experiencing some problems getting the Ionic to sync when I was using Android app version 2.58 - sometimes I had to manually restart the sync 4 or 5 times before it would sync - but, since upgrading the app to version 2.59, it has been syncing much more reliably.

I'm having a similar issue with my Ionic and the iPhone app. About once a day, my app and Ionic stop being able to sync, with the app stuck 'looking' for the Ionic. I can temporarily solve the issue by turning my Ionic off and on again, but it then happens again the following day. I also tried completely disconnecting my Ionic from the app and then reconnecting it, but I'm still having the issue.

I feel like having to turn my watch off and on again everyday is also not a viable long term solution, so I was wondering if anyone had found a more permanent fix?

I've had no issues today. Yesterday I rebooted my phone after all the repairing and downloading new app etc. Not sure if it's fixed for good ?! Time will tell

After a very smooth set up process on the S7 Edge, I found out about the pairing and syncing issues on the field after a workout. What followed after was painful. I spent hours reading through all the sync issues and resolution notes. After multiple failure attempts to sync. I resolved to factory reset and uninstalling apps. It was a **ahem** to set up again to say the least.

My Android phone S7 edge just couldn't find the Ionic, then I went to IOS (iPad Pro) which didn't get past Wi-Fi search. Then I tried Windows on my laptop. It has Bluetooth so no need for dongle. I got everything ready and also updated to 27.25.16.7.

As soon as I got everything setup I turned my appliances off and went to bed. This morning the phone still doesn't sync but Windows no problem at least it is a platform that works. This isn't a long term solution though why would I pay for a top model tracker to only be limited to getting data on the PC the old school way. I hope an update will be ready soon.

I'm in the same boat and would love a clean solution.  I have the Android Fitbit app 2.59 on a Galaxy S7 and continue to have syncing issues which require a soft-reset of the watch for the sleep data to come across.  The app indicates a sync has occurred, but the sleep data are not present.  I have not validated if other data were appropriately transferred.  I have gone through the process of hard-resetting the Ionic, uninstalling the app, unpairing, etc. all without a clean solution.
