My Fitbit Ionic has stopped syncing. It says it is connected but will not sync. I have tried turning Bluetooth off and on and quitting the app and restarting and powering off my phone. I have also stopped getting my notifications messages. I have an IPhone 8 and am on 12.0.1

My Ionic has worked as it should for months. Over the past few weeks I have inconveniently noticed that it wasn’t keeping time running 10 to 30 minutes late. When attempting to sync with my IPhone 8 it won’t connect. My phone is up to date.
So I followed the troubleshooting guide. This included: soft rests, hard resets, delete ting the app, reinstalling the App, removing all my other linked Bluetooth devices. I have now had to do this four times as any solution lasts no more than a few days, as well as using the well meaning but tediously slow chat service to no avail.
Needless to say say this has taken many frustrating hours and is unacceptable not to have a working solution and be left with only a basic watch that can’t be relied upon to track time!
i am now considering pursuing a warranty issue. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone found a permanent solution?

This doesn’t work. I am left with no solution having tried all the double shooting guides. And when it does sometimes connect it drops out again within a few days. Please fix this otherwise we’ll have no choice but to find a reliable brand.

What have Fitbit done to help
you? Surely if you have exhausted all the troubleshooting remedies this is a warranty issue?
