I have had the Ionic since Mother's Day 2019. It has crashed 4 times since. It will not sync my steps or notify me of messages. It does display accurate time and date. I am ready to get an Apple Watch at this point and I have been in the Fitbit Family for about 5 years with 3 different devices. The Ionic is the worst.

What symptoms do you see that tells you it is not syncing? Have you set up the Fitbit app on your phone? I have had good success with my Ionic.

Does the app show your Ionic is connected? Does it show it's trying to sync? If not, I would suggest contacting support.

I appreciate your loyalty to Fitbit. Sorry to hear you're experiencing this with your Ionic. I would like you to try this syncing troubleshooting and if you get it syncing, you can try the steps mentioned in this article for your device not receiving notifications.
