Ionic not syncing

Had my ionic since March, no problems until today. Noticed it had lost 20 minutes this morning also discovered it was not syncing! Did all that was advised on this forum, got it back running now not syncing and lost a couple of minutes already.

any help out there ?

Clearing the 'cache' in the phone app seems to help; although I've had to combine that with a random assortment of re-booting the watch a few times.
