Ionic not syncing

My ionic won't sync to my phone. Online chat told me to update the Fitbit. However that requires my phone finding the Fitbit which it can't do. I've tried the usual switching on and off.

@CharlotteP1986, did they suggest you update the Fitbit app on the phone, or update the firmware on the Ionic?  Do you have the most current version of the Fitbit app on your phone?  When you say you did the "usual switching on and off", do you mean you turned the phone off, and on, or did you turn the Ionic off and on? Have you verified Bluetooth is enabled on the phone?

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
