My Ionic that is only a couple months old is not tracking steps, calories, heart rate, etc. It wont take a charge either. I attempted resets and changing the clock face. No luck yet.

I've been having the same problem for few days already, not tracking anything, heart rate, steps, sleep and screen awake though its in auto mode. I tried changing my clock face which worked initially but the same problem recurr and im losing my patience and trust with this product which i bought last year and already out of warranty.. 😥

Hi,
I am in the same boat as a lot of others except my fitbit ionic is less than 6 months old: the FB itself is OK but, once I let it "update" last week, its not synching with my iphone (my Iphone cannot detect any bluetooth signal from it) & has lost time completely.
The first time it happened was on the weekend & I called & ran through it with your support (Ref 31399612). It synched as I was on the phone but has not syched since!! My iphone cannot find it at all.
I even bought a replacement Ionic on the weekend (picked it up Monday morning) but, while trying to set it up yesterday, it went through the same update & now it will not work at all either (its stuck on the logo with a blue vertical "stripe" down the left hand side) & again, the iphone is not recognising it...
I complained to Fitbit & just tried ringing the number but, after repeated calls, it now looks like they have "black-listed" my phone number!!!

My Ionic stopped working too for no apparent reason. I have had it just long enough for the warranty to run out. I contacted Fitbit and their solution was to buy a new one. I had to save up for a while to buy the first one, so I won't be buying a replacement anytime soon. From reading all of the posts on here, it seems a shame that Fitbit can make a product that last more than the warranty. When I first started with Fitbit I purchased a Flex. Fitbit replaced it once even after the warranty had expired. I lost a Flex, someone found it, contacted Fitbit and they sent it back to me!! I was so impressed! But now it seems that all we get from customer service is the run around and told to buy a new one. It's sad. I used to be a HUGE Fitbit advocate, but now I don't tell anyone about them at all expect to beware. 😞
