Ionic not tracking some steps after calibrating it

Received notice to plug ionic in to calibrate, and so I did. When I put it back on the next day noticed that the steps arent being recognized unless I stomp my feet....not average walking steps. I have a foot injury that causes me to step more lightly on one foot, and watch appears to no longer be tracking that step.. any solutions?

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? This issue begin after calibrating the device or did you experience it in the past? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Ionic and let me know if the issue persists.
