After washing and drying my ionic the battery died from full to nothing in a few hours, when I tried to charge it just vibrated even for a few seconds after taking it off charge I've tried to force start and reset also whilst on charge and all I get is a blank screen. After a charge as the vibrating has stopped now the sensor lights flash but the battery dipleates in a couple of hours but black screen and the buttons don't do anything. My partner paid £300 for this watch and we would expect it to last a least 4-5years.
Has anyone got any ideas as to a fix?
Or have I just got a watch that needs to go in the bin?

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to pour attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation
Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be here.

If I charge the watch the battery dies in a couple of hours, the heart rate sensors do flash but the screen is just black and I cannot see if the touch works or the buttons on the side, I have also done the restart process with and without the charge cable plugged in and this has had no effect on the watch.
