I have a Fitbit ionic that my husband got me for Christmas that was working perfectly until about a month ago. It started going to the screen that says “screen awake” (if I remember correctly) without me touching the screen or buttons. Then when I pushed the home screen button, nothing happened. Then the screen went blank. You could see that it was on by a faint glow, but nothing too bright. At this point I was still able to detect it from the Fitbit app and it was still counting steps.
After about a week and a half, it just stopped charging and wouldn’t turn back on. I’ve tried restarting it, cleaned the charger and spot it connects to on the Fitbit, and plugged it into a usb hub and computer, but still nothing!
I LOVE my Fitbit and used it everyday, but for $300 I can’t justify asking my husband to buy another one.

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried. I'm glad to hear that you were loving your Ionic. Since, you've tried restarting it and cleaned the charging contacts but it's still not working. I've shared your post with our Support team and they will continue assisting you through email.
