Ionic not working after firmware update

My fitbit is just over 2 years old, I used it every day, swimming, showering, running, ect. How its supposed to be used, my band had wear and tear (third party band) finally broke, I just purchased a new band finally (haven't used it since feb) I did a factory reset and it bricked, There is no lights, it doesn't reset, does not turn on, no icon, nothing. I contacted support, after spending as much as i have on this watch. I figured it would have broken from being stepped on, screen cracked, something. But instead what ruined my fitbit was the factory reset!!! Updating the dang thing broke it! Customer support said it was outside warranty but gave me a 35% coupon. Pft, Like i will be purchasing a new one! I have had cheaply made fitness watches work better then this! it shouldn't have broken from a update! I am so furious, and I know i'm no the only one dealing with these issues! Never again.. Horrible!

I posted about the exact same problem and nobody has offered to help me at all.  Very disappointed in the mods.  I have been ignored.

PS- I am somewhat stunned that what appears to be a pretty common issue in Ionics is being just ignored by Fitbit.  The answer seems to be "sucks to be you, here's a coupon".
