I bought an Ionic earlier this week & so far the best I can see is a blue logo, although most of the time the screen is black.
It won't sync to either my Android phone or my computer. I'm led to believe there is a touch screen functionality but haven't experienced it working.
Swiping the touch screen doesn't get any result apart from seeing a black screen. Following the instructions to restart doesn't seem to be working either.
I'm completely at a loss how to get this to function. I am so underwhelmed & disillusioned. At this stage I'll be returning the device to the retailer I purchased from for a refund.

The outcome to this situation was I returned to the retailer who noted they were receiving a lot of returned units due to faults. They replaced & said if the next unit fails I could receive a refund or could put the funds to an alternate make / model.
The replacement worked & I was very happy to be back in track.
Unfortunately after 13 months & just out of warranty, this unit started failing. Now at 15 months the screen is black, apart from a faint blue line around the edges.
Ionics don't seem to be available any more so I presume after too many issues they were removed from sale.
I like reviewing my stats but the reliability of the units (5 different units in 6 years) sheds serious doubts over buying another Fitbit.

It's great to see you around @ScottA. Thanks for taking the time to shared this information about what you're experiencing.
I appreciate the troubleshooting you've tried. Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your watch.
If you haven't returned your Ionic to the retailer, please try the following troubleshooting to get it working:
- Try this syncing troubleshooting
- Confirm you've tried restarting it following these steps
If after performing this your watch is still not working, I can create a case on your behalf with them.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.
