Ionic - notification services not running

I bought an ionic yesterday. The setup seemed to go ok however, it seems to keep losing the connection between the phone and app. I also got my WhatsApp messages to work on the ionic, but it keeps stopping and I keep getting notification services not running please restart your phone. 

Well I keep restarting my phone, I keep setting up my ionic again and again.m but that warning won't go away and it won't send notifications.

Please include the phone type when asking a problem with the phone, especially when posting on the hardware board.

Huawei P20 Pro.

I've the watch back this morning  and got a replacement which is working fine.
