Hi all, I got my Fitbit ionic for my Birthday and the issue is that it has receive messages and phone calls from my Galaxy s9+ put it doesn't display them... I can only see them if I swap display from the top to the bottom. So bassicaly I never know if I got something or not as it doesn't vibrate either 😞

Have you tried restarting your Ionic by pressing and holding the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs (until you see the fitbit logo)?

Welcome on board @Edzia92, it's nice to see you around the forums! Have you tried restarting your Ionic as my friend @N8teGee recommended?
The notifications you're not receiving are from Third-Party apps? If so, since your Ionic can receive app notifications make sure you can receive app notifications on your phone. For example, you can receive Facebook notifications on your Fitbit device, but only if you also receive them on your phone. Find the notifications permissions under Settings > Notifications.
1. In the phone itself select "Settings", "Notifications", "Mail/Facebook" then ensure "Allow Notifications" is enabled.
2. In Mail/Facebook select "Settings" and ensure "Show Notifications" is enabled.
As Ionic can receive notifications from other apps on your phone, tap App Notifications and make your choices. If an installed app is missing from the list, sync your device and then check again.
If the notifications are still not coming through, please check the article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
From the clock face, swipe down to see your notifications and tap one to expand for more detail. Your watch stores your 30 most recent notifications and automatically deletes them after 24 hours. The information that appears depends on the notification:
Hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

It appears the Ionic can only hold 30 notifications. When that limit is reached the ionic stops getting notifications.
Solved this problem by constantly clearing out notifications to make way for new notifications
FITBIT - would be nice if this happened automatically and not require manual clearing !

I'm having the same issue. Tried restarting, and verifying all the notification settings which previously worked. Still don't get notified when a notification comes through. They're all just there in the background, only to be seen if I swipe down, which is pointless. Please help.
