I have a iphone 7 plus. The first day my notifications would make my watch vibrate and pop up on my watch. Now it doesn't seem to do that. I tried restarting my phone and refreshing the app. I also powered off the watch and turned it back on. I ensured the notifications were on, on the app. I also had it on for exercising and sleep on my watch. Any suggestions? Did I turn something off in inadvertently?

I have a slightly different problem. I have Outlook.com email and my office Exchange mail set up on my phone. While I get mail notifications for Outlook, they don't come through for Exchange. No trouble with SMS, WhatsApp.
The Ionic's definitely buggy, especially compared to the Surge, with which I had no trouble. This one adds steps and floors randomly and FitbitSupport is no help, but that's another story for another forum.
Any ideas on why I don't get Exchange notifications?
Thanks.

On my second fitbit Ionic. I delete the device. Uninstall app. Install app. Reenable notification . Restart both phone and Ionic to make it work for 3 hours. It stops after that. Again if I repeat the same it works. Btw DND is off . All day sync and always connected off. Mail and message notification off. As suggested by others.

Thank you all for your replies; glad to know I’m not the only sufferer! Too many bugs with this tracker, doesn’t do more than 60% of what is advertised. Good advice to wait a bit longer though - will wait for the next update before returning. Thanks again!

Thank you! This worked for me too. I've been back and forth with support and this was never mentioned.

Hey South-Rider,
Thanks for the trouble taken, but I have notifications switched on. However, I have multiple email accounts set up on the phone, but only receive notifications from my Outlook account, not the others, including Gmail and Exchange email.
Still searching for the solution!
Thanks!

The easiest action is simply remove the Ionic from your Fitbit App, restart phone and watch and then add it back. You only lose you app notifications and WiFi set up. I found the other suggestions did not work.

It is the same situation . And it is suspicious since the new Android ap update! I wiped off the phone and reset the clock at the factory. I'm angry. Damage to this error! I'll do it again, and if it's not good, I'll take it back.

@stemplar, did you do the SWIPE RIGHT verification and made sure your watch is set to NOTIFICATIONS (receive from phone) ?
