Ionic-pace not accurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm an old jogger. I just finished 2.2 miles in 34:02 minutes. My Ionic shows my pace to have been13' 41". I thought that pace was time divided by distance, which would make my pace 15' 27". Why the difference? I WISH my pace were nearly two minutes faster!

I restarted the Ionic, as you instructed. Today I tried intervals -- whoa, what a mess! Initially it said I had jogged/walked 17 minutes, but when I went to the info on the phone it said 20'05". It also listed "Active Zone Minutes" as 38 minutes. And, separately, a 14'22" pace, which is closer to the 17 minutes time. Sometimes I think this is just an RNG, or Random Number Generator.
