My skullcandy method wireless earbuds have worked well for months but have now stopped pairing with the ionic. The ionic does recognize the method during pairing but will never complete the pairing process. The earbuds pair easily and quickly with other devices so it seems to be the ionic. I have tried the published solutions of starting and restarting the ionic and there is not a Pending software update available. The ionic will still pair with other earbuds I have. Help please!

@Cmikew Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you are currently having with Ionic and your Bluetooth earbuds not connecting. Thanks for trying the steps found in order to sort this out.
It is strange that other earbuds will still connect with Ionic, but not the ones you are trying to use. Please check that your earbuds are not connected/paired to other devices at the time you are trying to pair them to the Ionic. Other Bluetooth devices may interfere the signal and may be causing that. Same with Ionic, check that it is only connecting with the earbuds you are trying to use.
Keep me posted!

Hi,
I have the same problem with my Versa and my Skullcandy Method earphones. While my Versa finds the earphones when searching for devices, the pairing process never completes. This wasn’t an issue until fairly recently.
I’ve tried every recommended technique to achieve successful pairing. All software is up to date, all other devices which could previously have been paired with my earphones are always completely disconnected and out of range, I always put my earphones in pairing mode, I’ve switched both devices on and off in various different recommended sequences, and I’ve ensured that both devices are fully charged for each pairing attempt. The only thing that has worked so far has been to run a factory reset but it’s not sustainable to keep doing that.
Like the previous commenter mentioned, I’m able to pair other earphones with the Versa, and I’m able to pair other devices with my Skullcandy earphones - I just can’t get my Versa and Skullcandy earphones to pair.
I would really appreciate any assistance I can get with this.
Thanks,
