Notifications won't clear unless I reboot

I just purchased my Fitbit ionic a little less than a month ago. It worked perfectly for the first week and now it won't clear old messages and email notifications. I have tried rebooting it and it does reset but then it happens again and I have to keep rebooting it. Does anybody know how to fix this issue?

Which notifications are you refering to @Alwaysashleighl? on the Fitbit app or ionic.

On ionic press Clear All or swipe the notification off the screen.

If the notification comets back it is because the Fitbit app has resent and it would be help full to know which phone and app that the notification originated from and if the notification was marked as read.

If not marked read, the app sending the notification might be the issue.

The notifications on my ionic will not clear. I have to reboot the ionic
each and every time for it to say "all caught up". Even after I delete my
emails from my actual Gmail account they still appear on my Fitbit. I am
using my Galaxy 8 Note and I did not have this problem the first week I had
my Fitbit just for the last two weeks or so. If I restart the whole Fitbit
then they all clear but I have to keep restarting it in order for it to
clear.

Hi, I'm having the same problem on my Versa. I have a gmail message that I keep clearing on my Versa (and have deleted from gmail), but it keeps showing up in my notifications.
