Ionic restarted itself

Just took my brand new Ionic for my first run/walk today. I was doing a brisk walk while swinging my arms in a circular motion and when I flick my wrist to view the stats, I noticed the Fitibit restarted itself and was on the Fitibit logo. After awhile it booted up back to the home screen.

Has anyone encountered this before? I'm on the new firmware BTW.

@nasder  I had it happen once since I updated to the new OS.  But I also had it happen maybe 2-3 times on the previous OS -- that I saw.  I don't know when this behavior is worrisome enough to notify Fitbit.

I hope others chime in with their experience.

I'm getting this restarting multiple times a day. Seems to happen when it attempts to sync to the phone. The sync is hit and miss, very unreliable.. Can't rely on notifications from phone to appear on the Ionic with such unreliable connection. Wished the Fitbit app allows viewing of the sync logs for troubleshooting. Now it's a black box, and no idea why the sync fails or why the Ionic keeps rebooting itself.
