So for a few days my ionic screen has been going dim on me and then suddenly is shutting down for no reason. Sometimes it restarts on its own but other times I have to hold the left button and bottom right to force restart it. The screen has also been freezing up on me so I am unable to swipe so I manually restart it. Today, the watch has not been reading my heart rate even though the green light is flashing under my wrist. Every time I remove it from my wrist, it shuts itself off, earlier the battery was at 81%, I had charged the watch last night. Please help.

Sounds like you are having some pretty serious problems. Would try a full factory reset to new from the Settings App. Then sync up and do the update to .19 -> check to see if you still have issues.
If you do not you are good. If you do -> would contact Tech Support right away and explain exactly your problems and what you tried to get your Ionic working properly.
If they verify your Ionic still crashes after you did a full reset to new -> they may offer to send a watch replacement to you. You see whenever you sync -> the watch sends a load of data to them. So it helps to follow their instructions exactly so they can confirm if your watch is deemed defective.
Yesterday they sent out a replacement to me as they know exactly my problems and what I have done to try to rectify the issues. Had the watch for 2 weeks now. Personally have found Tech Support willing to help out within their skill set. One issue I resolved - another was left to programmers to resolve - last was sending out a replacement to hopefully resolve crashing.
What you are experiencing is def not normal. Tech Support should try to resolve this matter for you right away. They were quite polite to me. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, I’m gonna try all these steps today. I reset the watch last night and for a few hours it was working but woke up this morning to the same issues again. I’ve had the watch for almost a year so hopefully it will still be under warranty.
