I found that in the past few weeks, my Ionics randomly restarts. Sometimes it goes well for a day or more (or at least, I don't notice it restarting), but sometimes I notice it several times a day.
I haven't found any relation to exercises, time of day, battery life, connection to my phone or anything else. I already manually rebooted the Ionic several times and did a factory reset, but nothing seems to solve this.
What can I do to solve this?

I've had an Ionic for quite a while as well @JarnoG , (my go to tracker), and I notice a restart now and then too. Best I've been able to determine is it happens on the occasions I go out of the 25 ft blue tooth perimeter of my mobile for an extended time. When I get home and start cool down it sometimes occurs. My guess, since I haven't lost any steps or data after the fitbit logo pops up for a sec, is the notifications function is re-handshaking. I'll keep a closer eye on it, generally it doesn't happen when I'm watching for it.

It does that to me, too. Noticed that first time when it restarted during the workout but usually, restarts are totally random. But hey, look at the bright side! Fitbit automated one of the usual troubleshooting steps 😄 Now there is no need to restart Ionic to fix issues. It will do it for you! 😄

I've had it happening to me while I had my phone close by (and connected) and while my phone was off already for a long time, so I don't think it's related to the bluetooth connection.
When it happens during an excercise, it also stops recording the excercise.
