Ionic's battery draining

So I updated the app on my iPhone 8 and ever since everything has gone bad. My charge used to last 5-7 days and now it holds for only 6-8 hours. Steps do not show and does not collect sleep data either.  I love everything about the Ionic yet  What’s happening
