My battery barely lasts over a day. This is happening when I'm not even using it to track exercise, listen to music and rarely checking it for message. I have the Iconic, it's about 16 months old. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes! Same issue for me! My Ionic is 9 month old and the battery has been great until one month back, now I have to charge every night and before I could charge like every third day. Very annoying!!

I've tried that. I don't get message alerts, step alerts or anything and I have dimmed the face. I do not have it set to turn on when my wrist turns. I could be doing nothing for 24 hours and its at or below 50%. I have to charge it every night as it is my alarm, so I can't worry about not having a charge. This has been happened over the last couple of months. I used to be able to go for days without a charge, even tracking fitness. Not anymore, disappointing.

My issues only started after the update.

I like that the suggestion to issues created by the update is to turn off Fitbit features. The features are the reason I got the ionic. I might as well just wear a watch if I follow the suggestions. The problem is with the update, not the feature settings. Fitbit really needs to read the complaints and start taking responsibility for the issues created by their update. Very disappointed!

I restarted my Ionic and my ionic and now suddenly it’s behaving as before, the battery is lasting for several days again. Strange but very happy it got solved.

I agree with you @HeathersS . I should be able to use my fitbit for the features - as that is what I bought it for. It's disappointing it's not lasting like it did before for the cost of it. Maybe it's time to go apple? I hear others really enjoy theirs and the features it has to offer.

Hi @SunsetRunner I've tried that soooo many times now, as text messages would get stuck on it and would not clear. Nothing seems to be helping. Disappointing for the cost of the Ionic.
