Last week my Ionic had the logo on screen and seemed locked up. Screen is very dim and info is not accessable from watch, but I can see it on my phone app. Notifications don't come thru on watch.... Is it dying?

Hello @Lynn93 welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post, it's a pleasure to assist you with the difficulties you're experiencing with your device. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your Ionic device to resolve the display situation.

Regarding notifications, to better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Ionic are correctly configured.

After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.

Hi! I have a moto z3 Android phone. I have restarted my Ionic several times. When I do that and the Fitbit icon disappears the clock is bright for just a second and it goes dim again. I can not do anything from my Ionic. It just shows the clock display... It won't let me scroll to anything and the only thing I can get to with the top right side button is my 'Run' workout. It won't let me choose that either. This has been going on for about a week. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your reply and update @Lynn93, my sincere apologies for the delay in responding your post.

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, also, thanks for trying the restart process that was previously shared. Since the restart process didn't resolve your display concern, please follow the next steps to try our factory reset procedure:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have for the similar issues since last night , woke up without sinc on both of sleep and step.  During the day the auto screen wake also doesn't work and the monitor is dim.  I finally restart the watch , in the meanwhile have to reset phone-watch paring.  Now seem it works again and hope will be no more issues.
