Ionic screen is black and unresponsive

I have a Fitbit Ionic that refuses to turn on again. Nothing displays on my device even when on the charger.  I've had problems in the past where it would just freeze and was able to just hard rest the watch and it worked but not anymore.  I haven't had this watch that long and am starting to think it was a waste of money as many issues as I have had.  I starting to think I should just go back to wearing my Samsung.  Does anyone have a clue as to how to fix this issue?
