Ionic screen isn't working

I have had my Ionic for over 3 years with no problems but all of a sudden the screen will rarely respond to touch or will just operate by itself often resulting in having to unlock it via my phone. I have turned the device lock off to solve that problem but when out running this morning I could not ‘finish’ my run, ended up just restarting the watch just to get off that screen. I have tried restarting the watch many times now and it’s fully charged, don’t know what else it do. Only started doing this a few days ago. Any suggestions?
