Ionic screen shows 0 for everything

The tap screen, where we can easily scroll through steps, flights of stairs, HR, etc has 0 for everything. If I swipe up my data is there, and it tracked on my run, but it is really annoying to have no info on my home screen....thoughts?  I tried resetting (not a hard reset) twice, but nothing happened!

Hey there @allisonjeric, thanks for stopping by! Thanks for already taking the time to restart your watch, nice way to go!

While reading your post I was wondering if you've changed your clock face? If so, can you try switching to a different one and see if you're still missing your data on the display? If you're not missing any data with the new clock face, I guess that inconvenience might be coming from the current clock face you've set.

On the other hand, if you have not changed your clock face and your data missing was displayed before with that same clock face, please confirm to me that you've follow the steps below to properly perform the restart:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If your Fitbit Ionic doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

Give this a go and let me know the outcome!

I tried what you suggested but had no luck.

My watch face has been the same.

Please advice what to try next, as this is quite an inconvenience.

So due to your lack of response I've gone to the last resort of a factory reset and it has worked for me it now shows the data that I want on the main screen

I am glad you responded at least!  I really don't want to do a factory reset, but I guess I will try that...will give a few more days to hear from a fitbit staffer....not holding my breath though!

I have the same problem but I don't see any update from Fitbit moderator ?

Does this mean that the only solution is to reset to factory settings ?

I keep hoping someone will respond with something....it is very frustrating to have so little support in the forum from moderators. I switched from Garmin to my Fitbit, and I am not sure I always made the best decision due to lack of customer support.

Been having the same issue as well for the past few days.  Seems like factory reset is the only way to fix this issue?

how do I do a factory reset again?

Best Answer

Unpair (delete) your ionic from your phone using the fitbit app then go to settings on your ionic > about > factory reset.  Then you'll have to go through the whole set up process again sadly.  Though I can say it works again!
