My Ionic has started to demonstrate some strange behaviour. It's said twice now that i've done between 10-15k more steps than I've done, which is a huge margin of error by any standard.
The same week, it also failed to record ANY sleep overnight.
Is there a known bug in the latest firmware update or do I need to return it for a new one?

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

I should point out that this seems to occur when charging the battery via the USB port on my iMac Pro.

This has happened to a few people. I believe a factory reset will fix it. I am not sure if it's a permanent fix.
