Ionic set up and sync failure

My ionic stopped syncing yesterday so I went through all the suggested help steps all the way through to removing the ionic and deleting the app and starting again woth a set up. Now my ionic won't setup. After I put the 4 digit code in it returns a "not working message" and ask me to check if fitbit on and charged, restart fitbit and trun Bluetooth off/ on. I have even tried to set up the ionic on a separate phone and it also failed. I have tried all the suggestions on other posts in this forum. Please help thanks.
